Privacy Policy

Interaction Partners AG — covering our Website, schedulR and DIRO

Data protection and data security are important to Interaction Partners AG (Interaction Partners; we). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect and process your personal data when you visit our public website (Website), being interactionpartners.ch (including domains that redirect to it, such as interactionpartners.de, intacpartners.ch and intacpartners.com, as well as schedulr.ch, which redirects directly to app.schedulr.ch), when you access and use the “schedulR” platform at app.schedulr.ch (schedulR), when you use our AI-based Digital Investor Relations Officer (DIRO) on the website of one of our corporate customers, or when you use our advisory services.

1. Collection and processing of personal data

Data we collect and process in order to make the Website and schedulR available

You may visit the Website and obtain information about Interaction Partners and our services without telling us who you are. As with any connection to a web server, the server on which we make available the Website and schedulR automatically logs and stores certain technical data for a short time, including the IP address and operating system of your device, the date and time of use, and the type of browser you use. This is necessary for the optimal and secure provision of the Website and schedulR.

Personal data we collect and process in order to respond to your inquiries or provide advisory services

If you contact us using our contact forms, by email or telephone, use our advisory services, or register for events, we collect the information you provide, which regularly includes your name, business email address, telephone number, and your affiliation with a company you work for or represent. We use reCAPTCHA (a service of Google Ireland Limited for users in Switzerland and the EEA) to protect our contact forms against automated abuse; it collects technical information such as IP address and click behaviour.

Personal data we collect and process in order to allow access to and use of schedulR

schedulR is a platform that connects listed companies with investors. Its events functionality allows our corporate customers (Corporates) to advertise investor relations events to investor customers (Investors) and invite them to events; Investors may also build a personalized list of events based on their stated preferences, choose to have that list sent to them by email, and request or accept invitations to events held live or virtually. Its news functionality allows Corporates to send corporate news into and through schedulR. schedulR also offers a CRM functionality for Corporates who subscribe to it, and for us. We cooperate with investor relations firms and stock exchange operators, such as SIX Swiss Exchange AG (Partners), who may advertise events on their own platforms or publish and re-publish corporate news from schedulR.

We collect the following categories of personal data to provide schedulR: registration data (name, title, business email, company name and address); data you provide as an Investor when creating or updating your profile, setting event preferences used to generate your personalized events list, reading corporate news, requesting or accepting event invitations, or giving feedback, including investment preferences and event history; and data you provide when accessing schedulR on behalf of a Corporate or Partner. If you choose to receive your personalized events list by email, we use your registered email address for that purpose. Corporates and Partners are separate controllers in relation to their own interactions with Investors on schedulR — please refer to their respective privacy policies for those interactions.

Personal data we collect from third parties for our Contacts Database

On schedulR, we make available to Corporates, Investors and Partners a database of contact information (Contacts Database), compiled from publicly available sources such as LinkedIn, information provided by other Corporates, Investors or Partners, or third-party data suppliers. This regularly includes name, telephone number, email address, title, position and role.

Personal data we collect and process in order to provide DIRO

DIRO is an automated, AI-based assistant that we make available to our corporate customers (each a Corporate Client) for integration into their respective websites. DIRO allows investors, shareholders and members of the public to ask questions and receive automated answers based on publicly available information about the relevant Corporate Client.

When you interact with a DIRO instance, we collect and process: (i) technical data — your IP address, operating system, browser type, and the date and time of use, necessary to host, run and secure the chat instance; and (ii) dialogue data — the content of the questions and text you submit. We ask that you do not enter personal data or other sensitive or confidential information into DIRO, as it is designed only to answer general investor relations questions.

Dialogue data is retained for 12 months from submission, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Interaction Partners and the relevant Corporate Client each act as an independent controller in relation to their respective processing of your personal data in connection with DIRO. Interaction Partners is responsible for operating, hosting, securing and improving the underlying AI system, including using anonymized query patterns to maintain and improve it. The Corporate Client is responsible for its own website, its own privacy notice, and any consents it must obtain from you. Please also see the Corporate Client's own privacy policy, linked directly within the DIRO widget, and the DIRO Terms of Use.

Personal data we collect and process to invite you to and manage your participation in events

We organize events on our own initiative or that of Corporates, using schedulR and the Contacts Database to identify Investors who may be interested. We select invitees based on investment preferences, sector interests, event history, and the information in their schedulR profile.

Personal data we collect and process for web analytics (Google Analytics)

On our public Website (interactionpartners.ch) only — not within the schedulR app at app.schedulr.ch, nor within DIRO — we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (for users in Switzerland and the EEA). Google Analytics 4 (GA4) uses cookies to analyze traffic and automatically anonymizes IP addresses before storage. We only deploy Google Analytics cookies if you provide explicit prior consent via our Cookie Banner, and you may withdraw that consent at any time via the cookie settings link at the bottom of the Website. We do not use any other web analytics tool. schedulr.ch no longer hosts independent content and redirects directly to app.schedulr.ch, so no analytics or cookies are set on that domain.

2. Note on our use of cookies

We use cookies, tags and similar technologies on the Website to provide the best possible user experience and to help us improve it. Some cookies are technically necessary (e.g. the reCAPTCHA feature in contact forms). In addition, we use cookies to enable web analytics via Google Analytics, only on interactionpartners.ch. You can manage your preferences via the Cookie Banner. The schedulR app (app.schedulr.ch) and DIRO do not use any analytics cookies and therefore do not require a cookie banner.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We collect and process your personal data to inform you about our services and to provide our services to you or to the company or organization you represent. This includes:

  • Making the Website available
  • Responding to your inquiries
  • Providing schedulR and related services
  • Providing, maintaining and improving DIRO instances for Corporate Clients
  • Providing advisory services
  • Providing the Contacts Database
  • Inviting you to, and managing your participation in, our events

Interaction Partners, our Partners, our Corporate Clients, and users of schedulR have a legitimate interest in this processing in accordance with the purposes pursued, and it is usually also necessary to perform our contractual obligations to you or to your company or organization.

We also process personal data (and certain non-identifiable technical data) for: analysis and improvement of the use of the Website; sending you information about new developments, services or offers (you may opt out at any time); promotion of our events or those of Corporates or Partners; protection against misuse of our contact forms; compliance with legal obligations; and enforcement of legal claims — each on the basis of our legitimate interest.

The legal basis for this processing is therefore primarily our legitimate interest (or that of schedulR users, Corporate Clients or Partners), the necessity to perform our contractual obligations, or compliance with our legal obligations — with one exception: for Google Analytics on interactionpartners.ch, the legal basis is your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given or withheld via the Cookie Banner.

4. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the integrity, confidentiality and contractual availability of the personal data we process, including access controls, firewalls, encryption of certain data, and regular review and evaluation of these measures in line with our risk assessment.

5. Duration of data processing

We store your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, for as long as we have a legitimate interest in storing it, or for as long as required by law. DIRO dialogue data is retained for 12 months as described in Section 1 above.

6. With whom we share your personal data

Where necessary to make available the Website, schedulR, DIRO and the Contacts Database, or to pursue the legitimate interests described herein, we share your personal data with:

  • Corporates using schedulR, who have access to Corporate and Investor profiles (Investor profiles are not shared with other Investors or the public)
  • Corporate Clients using DIRO, who receive the dialogue data and analytics generated by their respective DIRO instance
  • Partners, including SIX Swiss Exchange AG
  • External service providers, including hosting providers and AI/LLM infrastructure sub-processors, bound by confidentiality and data processing agreements
  • If necessary, suppliers or business partners with whom we coordinate the processing of your inquiry or event registration
  • If necessary, public authorities and courts

7. Place of processing

We process your personal data primarily in Switzerland and the EU. Where external service providers (such as Google for web analytics, or infrastructure sub-processors) process data in third countries such as the United States, this is safeguarded by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or by certification under the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks.

8. Your rights with regard to your personal data

You have the right to obtain information on the processing of your personal data; to obtain a copy of your personal data in a commonly used format, or have it transferred to another organization; to correct your personal data; to delete your personal data; and to object to its processing. These rights are subject to conditions or exceptions under applicable law — for example, we may need to further process and retain your data to perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, or protect our legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.

9. Controller / How to contact us

For questions about data protection or to exercise your rights, contact privacy@interactionpartners.ch.

Our representative in the EU is VGS Datenschutzpartner UG, Am Kaiserkai 69, 20457 Hamburg, Germany — info@datenschutzpartner.eu.
